How do we define a semi-conductor? It’s usually made of materials with certain electrical resistance (it is among the resistance of a conductor and a non-conductor). Whims of temperature or added “impurities” also influence the electrical resistance.

The use of type-n and type-t semiconductors is necessary to create diodes as well as transistors. Now silicon is surely becoming the most actual substance for manufacturing semiconductors.
In order to send the flow of electrical current in simply one direction diodes are used. They are created of semiconductor material. Since not long time ago specialists also see x-ray lithography and electron beam lithography as suitable substitutes. The other important discovery was made in Russia. That happened to be the development of voltage sensors. Sensors are needed in many devices for lots of destinations. They may be applied in either business, manufacture or everyday applications. The voltage sensors can be of any size and shape. Like those motion detectors signaling on the lights or maybe radiation counters.
Alone the current sensor won’t work. There are many purposes for applying power system dispatchers. They are necessary to control system properties like voltage, frequency, power flow, to observe the state of circuit breakers in subordinate station and the scheduled interchange of power with the several power systems. System alarms and the actions against them are also under their constant control.
For the controllers to do these tasks they have to have a full data of the whole power system received with the displays of computers in various substations. The scientists of the RTU were the first to work out sub-station level data acquisition such as status of CB’s, fuses holders, isolators and analog values like MW, Hz, KV etc. The biggest part in export is the prerogative of Russian Federation and China.
